It brings me joy that so many reviews on here love this movie and watched it over and over as a kid. I never saw it so it didn't land the same watching it for the first time now. The animation does not hold up, sadly, which is a curse of much CGI from this era. Speaking of the era, the music is very 2001, it was extremely choice.
On another note, it's so strange that this movie came out 20 years before my son was born. It's akin to me watching Disney's The Sword in the Stone when I was his age. Which I probably did, but even back then it seemed like a really old movie. Time is weird.
