Dacre Montgomery and Cary Elwes were really unrecognisable in this and put in good performances. Bill was ok, nothing special but I thought Al Pacino was really lackluster and lazy. Not that I expected great things but I expected better. I was really surprised when I saw that Danny Elfman composed this as the soundtrack was really odd and the score was really poor for his standard. I thought the songs they picked were great but really didn’t fit the scenes or the film at all. Also why does this have a ridiculous amount of executive producers?

This needs way more Colman Domingo and less random hectic scenes. Like why add this many subplots into a film and explore none of them.

Bill Skarsgård is great and Myha’la & Dacre Montgomery are way to underuttilised in this film.

Plus Al Pacino gives a lackluster performance where instead of playing a asshole ceo who dosent want to backdown to a crazy man, he plays Al Pacino who seems slightly pissed off that his son is kidnapped.

Also the story should have been fleshed out more, it just ends as soon as he is released like I would of like to focus more on the court and his trial instead we get it rushed through at the end and the classic biopic text explanation.

But for all of that complaining it’s not the worst biopic out there. I like the whole style of the film and the story is still engaging throughout it just makes it feel a little disappointing when you finish it.

Before watching, I had no knowledge about the incident the film's based on, but the opening was very engaging and I was excited to see where the story went. However, it started dragging quite a bit around the halfway mark, and didn't pick up again until the last twenty minutes or so. I really liked Bill Skarsgård's performance, and my king Colman Domingo did a great job with his screen-time, but no-one else in the cast stood out to me, including Al Pacino (which was surprising, to say the least). The soundtrack was pretty good, though; Danny Elfman usually doesn't disappoint. Overall, I think this is worth watching for Bill, but I don't think I'd necessarily revisit it in the future.
