The Duchy of Grand Fenwick decides that the only way to get out of their economic woes is to declare war on the United States, lose and accept foreign aid. They send an invasion force (in chain mail, armed with bows and arrows) to New York and they arrive during a nuclear drill that has cleared the streets.

You can tell how old this movie is by the fact that America is portrayed as benevolent.

Ok I love Peter Sellers but this was just trash. The sets were bad, I couldn’t hear what they were saying, the costumes were dumb, the acting was just sad, script was harshly unfunny, and directing could be described as point and film. Were the people that gave it a 90% on rotten tomatoes high? The idea was kinda smart but….
