Now this is a REAL hidden gem, idk how the fuck is this movie so underrated and very slept on almost no mf saw this, this is the most perfect summer-camping movie I ever seen, GREAT coming of age movie, awesome soundtrack, it’s just perfect man, made me reminisce about my childhood especially 2nd grade, great times great film great friendgroup

Absolutely insane this movie isn’t more popular.  Camp Nowhere with maturity. What Sandlot wishes it could be. Stand By Me if it was fun. American Honey vibes-over-plot for kids. Idk what more you could want than Joe Flaherty teaming up with Christopher McDonald again, but the phenomenal performances by these child actors combined with its sparse-but-cutting ephemeral love and friendship story (perfect for the “endless summer” coming-of-age genre) makes this the best camp movie of all time.
