Jeremy Irons as cartoonish villain is something i always find as dull tbh. He's more into mentally depraved villain like Stephen Fleming, Humbert Humbert, or Esteban Trueba.
Idk this movie is pretty boring or is it just me

He only likes her because she’s 1 of the only 2 women in that entire town 💔

Renée Zelwegger was acting as if she was in a Netflix rom com western. Truly a bizarre performance at times but I lowkey like it

I really liked the Lonesome Dove vibe it had going on, bro westerns are usually some of the best westerns. Lovely performances from all 4 leads. Shouts out Ed Harris as director!

I was very engaged throughout and found Appaloosa to be a very immersive experience. The cast was very good and the acting was on point. The movie itself however doesn't come without it's flaws, especially in what concerns the narrative and some of the characters. Abbie for instance is an absolutely abhorrent character that put me off the film consistently. It became apparent to me that duels and action were not meant to be the focus of Appaloosa and the ones we did get were not as memorable as I would've liked them to be.
Overall I'd say it was a good experience and would recommend the film for western fans.
