This is what I was waiting for. The first 28 years later was a slower burn to set up this masterpiece. There were so many gnarly scenes with the Jimmys. This was paced fast and kept the foot on the gas the rest of the way. I didn’t have any expectations going into this, I was thoroughly suprised. The first movies trailers were writing checks, that it’s ass couldn’t cash. This one delivered tremendously. They need to stop playing and give us part 3 quick, fast, and in a hurry!!!

28 Years Later: The Bone Temple is yet another solid installment in this franchise, and you know what, it might be the best film in the franchise. Ralph Fiennes submits another incredible performance that you watch and just know the Academy is going to completely overlook because it seems they hate him at this point. HE DESERVES HIS FLOWERS!! Anyways, Jack O’Connell continues his roll of great performances, he’s genuinely terrifying in this film, just like he was in Sinners.

And we finally got Cillian back!! I’m so excited to see what they do with the third and final film of this new trilogy. It looks like Cillian Murphy and Alfie Williams are going to be taking the lead in the next film, and it’s going to be interesting seeing a character like Jim be the leader of the pack. A role he was not apart of the last time we saw him in the original 28 Days Later.

9/10. This was amazing and I saw the great reviews but I didn’t know if I was going to enjoy it as much as others but I did. Man the soundtrack in this film rocked and added so much to this film. Doctor and Samson’s relationship was honestly the best part of this seeing Samson get smarter and smarter as the film went on was very interesting. Jack O’Connel is the man also in this you want to hate his character so bad but it’s hard to when he is so damn funny. Also visually the film blew me away. The Fingers as a group was honestly so haunting and I was disgusted during the skinning scene. Only downsides for me was the start of the film as it was a little slow and I wish their was more zombies in this. Again these are small critiques and the film was still so amazing. The third act though was genuinely perfect in my eyes like they couldn’t of written a better ending to this film. And the song playing while Dr. Ian was pretending to be the devil just gave this a whole different awesome atmosphere. The ending sets up a sequel and I honestly didn’t expect to see Cillian Murphy return which I was surprised by and can’t wait for the third film in the 28 years later trilogy.
