liked things about this, I thought the ending was really nicely done, the film feels super dynamic, constantly changing form and feeling, and kawai yumi was fantastic (as always, she simply never misses), for example
but i think this solidified the idea that i just don't really fuck with these japanese films following 20-somethings fucking around and wandering through life and painstakingly figuring out who they are while doing terrible things and encountering terrible people
when i first started encountering films of this ilk, i was in my late teens and figured maybe i just needed to experience this feeling a little more to really get it.
but being in my late 20s now, it doesn't feel like my opinion has really changed
