So, this right here is not only the best movie of the year but it also is one of the best splatters/slashers ever made. This film is an obscure one. It's an Estonian Texas chainsaw parody epic that is also a musical, and guess what? It works better than any modern horror release. It's 2 hours of endless fun. As a person who doesn't know Estonian language at all, I laughed the whole fucking time. I really don't remember the last time I have laughed at a film so much. The jokes range from stupid dick puns (eye-balls 😜) to actually fucked up dark comedy. I also want to say that the style this is filmed in is absolutely masterful. The color correction is bright and shines in your eyes for the whole duration. It really adds up to everything. Also the whole film is kind of in close up and even though i'm not usually a fan of a shaky camera, it really fits the vibe of a typical Estonian summer. The gore is so well done, it's really similar to what you see in Terrifier; over the top, lasts for long and you get to see EVERYTHING.Now the musical part. The songs are goofy and dumb (the lyrics usually being about mens armpits or how killing is the whole point of life) but they are all perfectly performed and so enjoyable to listen to.There are also millions of references to iconic horror films. I spotted references to The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1-3), Friday The 13th and possibly even Critters (still bot sure about that).I could blabber about this masterpiece forever but I'm just gonna say that this is the most fun you will ever have with a comedic splatter film and this is a must watch for every horror fan, and I mean every single one.
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Pieces walked so that Chainsaws were singing could run.
