Great first half and very hard drop on the second.
The theme and concept were very clear at first then it’s just become a mess. The climax is messy and all over the place, unpredictable in a confusing way. They keep raising my eyebrows, thinking what is the movie about again? Family drama? Business? Beliefs? A lot of decisions don’t really make sense at all. Characters are shallow and their plan suck ass.
I do like the bold topic they chose to make movie about. Good cinematography and great acting. Good dialogue on some part such as when Ake was crashing out, I thought that was amazing even though everything just went downhill after that.
I admire how that they’re talking about how something that was meant to be religious and beautiful are painted with blood from human’s greed. Bold theme for a movie in Thailand, I always admire brave movie.
They really could’ve went with the more serious tone and executed the climax better than “the plan” they had which is “Let one group go in first then the other follows, because they don’t allow too many people inside”. Wow, big brain 🧠
