Cliche and tells the story of a fictional athletic hopeful instead of the story of an actual athlete who had to flee their home country in order to pursue their dreams. Pretty cinematography with great energy during the fight scenes, but that doesn’t carry over to the more domestic scenes, which only stands to make the repetitive rags to riches to rags again story feel rote.

Yikes, idk dude, if you wanna respect the athletes and people that fled Poland... maybe don't give them fake stories of them ruining their lives when they did? and then going back after they ruined their marriage?? Like what lmao
This wasn't a true story, so why did they choose it to end like that, make it make sense
