Deze film heeft voor mij twee kanten:

Aan de ene kant probeert het verhaal iets moois te vertellen. Een verhaal over iets de dood (kanker), maar ook dat je de natuur zijn gang moet laten staan en we de aarde niet moeten uitputten. 

Maar aan de andere kant is het daardoor soms verwarrend wát de makers nou willen vertellen, omdat er twee doelen in de film zitten (voor mijn gevoel). 

Wel weet de film spanning te behouden, maar hier en daar ook wel wat fouten (in de porto praten zonder ergens op te drunken). Dat soort dingen.

Kept watching because I wanted to know how it ended. If I knew I wouldn’t have stayed. Trying to be nice about it, but this movie was very odd. It’s a drama, with a sci-fi middle part, which seems to be (according to other reviewers) metaphorical for the drama. I watch a lot of movies, but there was no following this story for me. It was way too hard to understand.

couldn’t catch me scrambling up a georgian mountain range for some smug american bastard. just a little boring and unmoving for a sci-fi film about grief.
