The Furious is an absolute treat for martial arts fans and it delivers exactly what you want from a non-stop action movie Xie Miao is incredible as the father tearing through a criminal empire to find his daughter and teaming up with Joe Taslim makes for a totally badass duo The fight choreography directed by Kenji Tanigaki is insanely brutal fast and easily the best part of the whole film It definitely follows a pretty generic Taken style plot line that we have seen done a million times before and the acting outside of the action can be a little cheesy at points But if you are just watching for the pure adrenaline and phenomenal stunts it completely delivers the goods.

I went into Furious (2026) completely blind, not knowing anything about the movie, and honestly, I ended up loving it. The fight scenes were A1, the camera work was A1, and the acting was A1 across the board. This movie had everything I look for great action, strong performances, and an emotional story that actually got me invested in the characters. The moment when the little girl called him “uncle” hit me hard, and I’m not gonna lie, it brought tears to my eyes. Even though the film was different for me since a large portion of it was told through subtitles, it never took away from the experience. The story kept me engaged from start to finish, and by the end, I was glad I gave it a chance. Definitely one of my favorite movie watches of the year.
