As a queer Israeli, I am conflicted. Or rather not?
I understand our situation, and know that it can not change - for the better or worse. Life here are scary, and we need precautions - and sometimes it means having to track the people who are Palestinians, and check them.
As a film watcher, I loved it. Loved how it was made, very realistic, yet full of passion.
I don't think it can change here, because it's crucial to have extra steps to prevent bad stuff from happening - as happened before and still does now, and probably will for ever.
But the realistic end, was what made the movie so good and heartbreaking.
Great actors, it's amazing how beautiful they told this story of two young lovers :)
Though there's A LOT of stereotypes and not everything was true, I get the effort. 3 stars.

desde que me hice filmin quería verla y la verdad es que no me decepcionó. me esperaba una historia de amor prohibido y termina siendo una radiografía bastante angustiante del conflicto palestino-israelí. al principio me escamaba que se quisiera hacer la centrista con el tema pero luego va cogiendo enjundia y cambia la cosa.
