The patient stone definitely stands out between other movies about afghan women. It was my first movie of the director and I definitely looking forward to see more from him.

really liked everything that was setting up thematically, but some of it like the plot line with the soldier just felt off. Farahani’s performance was great and she carried the movie. the ending did kind of come out of nowhere and didn’t feel super believable which brought it down a little
