I’m not sure what Bing wants us to feel from this film. It’s absolutely beautiful and I still have yet to see a film of his that I didn’t like, but these children aren’t necessarily alone when their aunt lives near by and Bing is there with his camera. So the affect is a bit weird. Lovely and engrossing, nonetheless.
