I’m sure some people will see them as less than but I really like these screenlife format films like this and Searching (2018). They just demand your attention from start to finish
Amateur teenage acting undeniably holds this back a little bit but you have to know it comes with the territory of the story being told, stylish fun film I highly recommend

I had this one in a sneak preview at my local movie theater, and I have to say I'm really surprised by it. This movie got me stressing while watching, but in a good way. The acting in this was very good and worked perfectly with the idea of the movie. It was unique, entertaining, and interesting, as it is kind of relevant to the things happening in these times. It was also a super funny movie at some points, which was really nice. I really enjoyed this one!

The acting in this was very good and worked perfectly with the idea of the movie. It was unique, entertaining, and interesting, as it is kind of relevant to the things happening in these times. It was also a super funny movie at some points, which was really nice. I really enjoyed this one!

I’m totally technologically illiterate but this still satiates such a specific covid-era chronically online nostalgia within me. Knew fuck all about whatever they were going on about but still kept nearly shitting myself with stress proving that screenlife cinema can be so much more than a dated horror gimmick. I wholeheartedly believe LifeHack has already cemented itself as the standard bearer for the genre and will be hallowed as a cult classic in a few years

I actually really liked this!!
I wasn't expecting a movie about Bitcoin, cybersecurity, and spending your entire life online to be this entertaining, but here we are. Somehow they managed to take topics that sound like a school presentation and turn them into something genuinely fun to watch.
I also loved that the whole movie takes place through screens. As someone who spends way too much time staring at a phone and computer, it felt weirdly realistic. It made everything feel more immersive, like you were watching things unfold in real time instead of just watching a regular movie. The acting was great too btw!! That made everything better.
And the ending was so cute 😭 Though I'm sorry, there is absolutely no universe where I would remember twelve random words after almost two years. If someone gave me a Bitcoin recovery phrase today, I'd probably lose it before dinner.
Overall, this was a really fun movie. It had a good message, some surprisingly interesting stuff about cybersecurity and online life, and it managed to make me care about things I normally wouldn't care about at all. That's a win.
