I think in a effort to be inclusive and progressive this just comes across as beating ideas over your head multiple times - we get it this family obviously doesn't fuck with monogamy
some of the story choices are frankly super weird? Like why is 16 year old Frances bathing with her mum, why is their grandpa giving them weed gummies, why is their mother allowing them to go around Amsterdam drinking underage with people they've known for a day? Why are we being shown Frances being taken to a literal cruising spot when their still 16? Why is their family super invested in their sex life (there's a difference between making sure your child is being safe than whatever they were doing here). Just super strange choices
