"Now I'm the monster."
Never have I cried this much over a movie. This is the pinnacle example of how low budget films are actually the best type of film to exist. You don't need money or effects to make a good movie. As long as you have a good plot and fantastic actors you can do wonders! This movie was honest to God of really good watch and hard watch at the same time. Paddy is amazing as always but Tony Kebbell stole this movie. He's portrayal of Anthony was just mesmerising. Like I felt like my heart was ripped out.
The best part of this movie was the camera work. I don't think there was a single static shot which added to the overall theme of the movie. It just always felt so chaotic and real. The close up shots, aswell, of Richard at the end of the movie was just breathtaking. I really felt his heartbreak and despair and the lost overhead shot of his body in the same place his brother hung himself was just so poetic and cyclical I can't 😭
