Had director’s/crew commentary on in the background while I painted my nails and did character work for our play. Didn’t like it a ton more than last time but the commentary does have a ton of really interesting tidbits that I’m definitely keeping in mind as I’m writing my first feature.

Beautiful to look at but unfortunately despite the two scriptwriters, the script leaves a lot to be desired. I’m a huge fan of Elric’s podcast and I know both him and Webb are massive cinephiles so I’m a little disappointed at how meandering this whole thing is; you’d expect film lovers making a genre flick to only have it move at a snail’s pace if they were going to take some wild swings at some point but alas, they never do. Maybe rating slightly higher due to the theatrical experience.
