I love Ireland. I love the Irish people.
The warmth that resonates through the gray and dreary life of these characters just making ends meet in Cork is so fully captured here. It was so sweet, when I fully expected it to be something that would be upsetting, I left uplifted and hopeful. Missing being in my grandmother’s kitchen, 4 cigarettes lit around me, only catching a word or two of the quick and indecipherable sentences.
Great performances and looked pretty stunning as well.
So funny they had subtitles on here but I tried not reading them a few times and had a hard time so I get it.
