it had heart for sure but the characters didn’t feel fleshed out enough it was hard to feel for them. i think this is a debut film? i’ve heard but it was good. irish cinema continues to prosper however it feels very centered towards a certain demographic of irish people. i’m just bitter i suppose. i hope we continue to evolve and share stories that include all natures of ireland and maybe go further than dublin - not just setting but the people making the films.

I laughed, I cried. All around a powerful, beautiful, and moving film.
