Look, I'm just going to admit it, I have become quite fond of bruce springsteen over the last few months. I know shocker, this news probably knocked the last bit of air out of an old lady so I apologise for that, and to there family, but I don't apologise to bruce, keep doing what your doing and I'll keep watching (and listening) to what your doing. Even if your mate looks like a pirate, seriously though, that guy might just be a verry confused pirate, someone should check that he isn't. If only bruce was Russian, then he could sing born in the U.S.S.Rrrr and we could be certain (thank you, thank you).

This one is for the heads. Made by Thom who was in person Q and A. He is obviously a life long Springsteen fan and has made movies about him for 25 years. This is about going on a tour after COVID and really digging the music and wanting to put on a show. It focused on his set list and how this time he was going to lock in on a hard list that was meaningful to him. That tells a story. He has very poetic and direct affirmations and projects a certain self confidence while also having an inward awareness. His music is cool and I was thinking about when I saw him live, he put on a damn show. This felt like The Last Dance a bit as well. Like let’s dust off our instruments and get the band together for one last time around. I loved the comparing to the older 70s tour footage and stories as well. Fun time at the movies, wont win anyone over but good time for fans of the Boss.

i was fortunate enough to see this tour at gillette stadium in 2023, where i cried as i danced to some of my most beloved songs of all time. watching this documentary gave me another glimpse of what it’s like to be in the presence of the boss. i love you dearly bruce springsteen, eternally thankful for the joy his music has brought into my life

Bruce is the man plain and simple. I believe and will always believe he is the best live entertainer second to only Freddie Mercury who had unreal performing skills and crowd work but Springsteen is nearly as good. This documentary showed the first tour after covid and how they rehearsed and how it affected all the band members. Not much more to say other than this is a feel good documentary which gets surprisingly emotional at times.
