Charmingly sweet ! The rock and the feel 
The young monk character was so cool and charming and just overall lit vibes in general , had all the best lines too which is just sooooo cool  like oh my worrrrd
It was infinite tho and had the some urgency in the edit rarely matched by even the greatest of uniqlo fans 
It was so impatient it couldn’t stand to a single scene play out unless it was chopped up and made infinite 
Infinite as in never ending until it’s time for the next thing
Which was so fun to watch

Japan seems to really love this exact genre of story for whatever reason but I’m not complaining cause it really works. Just off the top of my head there’s the obvious comparisons to Linda Linda but there’s shows like K-On and even kids on the slope has an arc similar to this one.

I was surprised to see Nobuhiko Obayashi’s works aren’t all that known on here considering the popularity of House but that isn’t an indicator for this movies quality, this deserves more attention.

i wish i liekd it more than i did but idk some about it i think if i liked the music in the movie i would like it a lot more but i just havent gotten into this stuff yet but i love the idea of connecting thru art and stuff so maybe that made my expectations to high as well idk i liked how it was shot tho super fun and silly made the longer run time feel a bit shorter i guess
