Harry Dean Stanton's personal philosophies and outlooks on life are so fascinating to listen to. Some tragically beautiful, some funny, but always interesting. His body of work is so impressive, with standouts such as Paris, Texas, Repo Man and his role as Carl Rodd in Twin Peaks being some of my favourites of his performances. This documentary felt so tender and mellow, the editing was done really well I thought; I loved the mix of the interviews, film clips and other pieces of footage and I thought it was all balanced perfectly. Harry Dean Stanton's singing to an acoustic guitar felt so raw and intimate, a beautiful documentary.
