This movie had a lot of telegraphed swings that you could see coming from a mile away. The action and tension was still able to land solid. That was due to the chemistry Mattfleck had during the scenes where they really engage each other. This was a well told straight up crooked cop film. There’s obviously better, but I liked this one.

Actually surprised at how much I liked this.
I suppose when you have Matt Damon and Ben Affleck you can’t really go wrong, plus with a great supporting cast too.
Would’ve liked it more without the shitty car chase scene at the end but other than that, decent.

Easy 5.3/10 45 year old men will love this film. I don’t know this movie just wasn’t for me. Affleck was the only actor that I felt actually tried in this film. And as the movie went on it got worse and worse. The cameras were also really bad. I did like the plot twist of the Lieutenant played by Matt Damon not being a dirty cop which I didn’t see at all. Ben Affleck aura farms in this like expected. I would’ve bumped this up to a 6/10 if the girls took the money at the end. I mean I don’t really care for realism but how the girl get shot in the leg and go back to count money and walk it off like nothing. My expectations weren’t high for this but man this was borderline trash. We do still love the bromance of Matt Damon and Ben Affleck though. I do love the concept of this movie I just wish they executed it better.

A boilerplate one-location streaming thriller that in lesser hands would be a slog, but is elevated by crackerjack direction and the undeniable star power of Matt and Ben. Everyone should have a friendship like theirs where you can make fun movies and millions of dollars.

Teyonna Taylor literally sits around counting money the whole movie and is so fucking compelling. Steven Yeun plays against type. A grizzly Kyle Chandler shows up for a while. An all-time facial hair movie.

Did not have a bad fuckin time at all.
