This is a completely different attempt to a 2026 movie. It’s definitely unlike anything I’ve seen from this year with its fascinating depth, its unique characters and some really anxiety ridden direction.
It’s one of the surprises of the year and one of the movies that I think I’ll think about a lot from now.
Lead by two brilliantly raw performances from two of the most promising young British actors right now, this is exactly what it’s set out to be.
When you really commit yourself to the story, you will feel terribly uncomfortable the entire time and you’ll be completely taken away by the movie.
That can be both good and bad. For the most part, I thought it was a good thing that proved the creativity of it, but at some points, it did just feel a little too much and the story lost me a little bit.
Still, I’m grateful I got around to watching this because this will be in the conversation for longer.
