having your very first feature filmed on 16mm, being entirely in Lao as a British filmmaker with an initial budget of £60k is a massive risk to take but Joshua Trigg manages to pull it off so well. I loved the cinematography and it was so refreshing to see something so original as a coming of age without a romance subplot. I can't wait for the directors future projects.
