first time watching a movie in imax and ufotable did not disappoint

(spoilers) but the head reattach was CRAAAZY

too bad this movie’s pacing hard suffered from flashback no-jutsu…

and akaza did not need that long of a backstory, but the more i read about it the more i realize how tragically beautiful it all was.

demon slayer’s story may be simple but simple can still be enjoyable, especially when it looks this good

The animation in this movie was FLAWLESS. This film was filled with engaging story telling, emotional backstories and themes of pain and loss that left me teary eyed at certain parts. Amazing start to the trilogy of ending movies for this show, I can’t wait to see what else is in store. Also Zenitsu and Tanjiro are GOATS but that was already known

This is everything I hate about anime in one movie, the beginning was weird and holy cow, the internal monologues where horrendously written. They were like if I block his sword with my sword then I won’t got cut by his blade. Like no shit moron, you didn’t need to tell me that, I could’ve figured it the fuck out on my own. The villains were super annoying and I hated them as characters, they used the whole nice guy villain thing for all the demons and it’s so overplayed and weird. For a whole sequence, the demon was like, oh what a good strike, you’re so good at this and I’m like shut the fuck up, this shit is stupid. I hated this and this really is a great representation of the type of anime I loathe. I won’t watch again.
