had me in PIECES. tried to hold in my sobs so aggressively it should be studied. you’d look at the cast and think this is a comedy, but instead it’s the perfect balance of funny, tenderness, an exploration of self identity, and dealing with heavy, heavy grief— and the family dynamics that play out amongst that grief. 

i met seth rogen after (we are now homies) and also told the director, leah nelson, how beautiful her film was. and then started crying in front of her face❤️
