I am not normally a fan of films that involve war or gun violence, but this felt different, i thoroughly enjoyed this. I was so focused on what was going on that i kept shushing my step-sister.

Nikolaj Lie Kaas is amazing in this role. I was amazed by his performance, his character wasn’t worried about what might happen to him, the only thing he thought of was finding his son.I was also amazed that Nikolaj learned arabic for this role. That is dedication my friends, learning a new language is not easy, even if it’s for a film.

Can we also talk about how handsome Nikolaj looked in this, like wow. Haven’t really noticed it before, but it’s safe to say i’ve noticed it now.

This was nerve wracking, devastating and heartwarming.Nerve wracking and devastating for what he had to go through in order to find his son, and heart warming for his dedication, even if it came to a point where no one wanted to help.

Some people might not be satisfied or happy with the ending, but i think it fit perfectly with the story and information we got along the way. I can understand both opinions, however i stand on the side of liking it.
