it was so embarrassing when people would ask me what movie im currently watching and id have to bashfully say, "um wristcutters: a love story" without looking half insane. i liked it a lot. weird movie for weird people. i like how the heavy subject matter was treated. suicide is more complex than just depression and a "last resort". everyone in this wacky space also had a life and dreams. we're all just people who struggle. i like how the message doesn't strive for what most would think, considering the premise. its a love story! is mikal considered a manic pixie dream girl...?
