i’ve never been so overstimulated and under stimulated as much as i was when watching this film. this film definitely made me question my life choices on why i have access to so many amazing films and yet i decide to watch shit like this.. everything about this film is absolutely garbage. to the extremely cheap production value, the really stale dialogue, laughable acting, awful music, nonsensical plot. this film is painted as extremely disturbing but the only thing really disturbing is just having so many rape scenes which probably take up a quarter of the run time. the gore is very unrealistic and it’s like they didn’t really try, and this really isn’t a horror whatsoever, it feels a lot more comedic and i think it is a satirical portrayal of horror tropes, which i can respect, and that demonic floating baby honestly carried this film, i longed for more scenes with that thing because everything else was dreadful.
