I've never understood the we were best friends for decades and all of a sudden realise we love each other once it's forbidden trope it just seems ridiculous and is becoming very common but these two had such great chemistry with some very solid writing from Goldstein.

i usually like plots that explore complex relationship arcs esp if it involves best friends to lovers… but idk if its the cheating or the time jumps… this one just doesn’t resonate w me as well as the others that i’ve watched exploring similar themes. and tbf i find it quite hilarious that the husband hasn’t had a clue abt their affair but ig love blinds u or he’s also having an affair😛
