This doc uses an onslaught of news clippings and concurrent news reports to try and hide the fact that it is just another run-of-the-mill grand artist documentary. It is done fairly well for the most part and I must admit that the setting does serve its purpose to some extent, but it still puts the artist(s) in question up in a pedestal and makes zero effort to question that decision.
