This movie made me ache. Its disgusting. The fact its based on reality makes it far worse, but i rlly dont think the victims stories could be depicted any better with the information they had. This isn’t talked abt enough, another crime unpunished

The Imperial Japanese committed some of the most atorcious, heinous and horrific acts in human history and the US was complicit in it after the fact. However, the Chinese filmmakers did the subject matter injustice by making a vastly weird film, almost fantasizing it in the way Chinese films sometimes do. It's not a good movie.

i think they used ai maybe my eyes deceive me, why was this filmed like it was an inglorious basterds parody it could've done without the comedic element BUT it's like an important film kinda
