I didn't realise until now that Jessica Chastain and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau are in this film, and they undoubtedly make up a huge portion of the good bits. I liked Mama's character design and backstory, and some of the jumpscares were alright, but I had issues with the pacing of the film, and the plot was also a tad jumbled. Not sure I'll watch Mama on my own again, but might be fun with others.
