Features what may be the greatest acting stunt ever. I’d love to see Tom Cruise try to fall dick first into freezing cold water and then run naked on top of sea ice for several minutes.

An impressive movie for how low budget it is and how difficult an environment to film they’re in.

An impressive movie for how low budget it is and how difficult an environment to film they’re in.

While not a masterpiece in the large scheme of things, for what it is and how it came to be it is a great piece of cinema. The story and performances are great and entertaining, a joy to keep up for the large length it is. The story is full of a nice blend of drama and laughs and thrills to keep interesting. While it might not be the most technical film made but it is rarely distracting and doesn’t usually deter from the film. Kudos to the production of this film a great milestone.
