mixed feelings, but liked it a lot more after the postgame walk home discussion. i enjoyed watching this movie

it’s intense, but very well paced with comedy (so many laugh out loud moments), it makes you think, and it gets a lot of points for, as ben put it, “toeing the line perfectly” in its titular drama. the plot is SO perfectly crafted to make this insane sequence of events believable, and thus entertaining

it’s not really noteworthy otherwise, i’m not gonna remember it in like a year

oh, and their apartment is so sick — that’s noteworthy, i suppose. i want to live in their crib

Wow this was really good! Went in with no expectations, and I had a blast. I recommend you do the same.

I thought the opening romance was so cute and so well done, I liked the stories being used as an exposition tool. The acting was really good between Zendaya and Rob Pattinson. The twist came a bit out of nowhere and I thought it was so creative. The balancing of all these tones of seriousness, humor, guilt worked really well for me which is a hard thing to do.

This reminded me so much of that red flag game Nora made. You have Charlie be a bit weird (but cute) by lying about reading the book. Then when they first kiss, he “accidentally” traps her (Haim’s character kinda calls this out for being a bit weird too). Then we finally have the worst thing reveal.

I was really thinking about the extent of which one can accept another. It brougth along some thoughts about what understanding someone even means. Are you still the person you were? How much can you change?

I have so many more thoughts about this, but overall really well done.

This is hilarious, shocking, anxiety provoking, and really well made. Altho trigger warning (😉) it has Uncut Gems vibes so maybe avoid if you hated that.

I thought they toed the line extremely well with the drama — I went back and forth the entire film debating what I would do or think, they nailed it with the reveal.

Actors were amazing and so funny, shoutout to the photographer!! Oh and shout out Boston beautiful shots, I worked in the building across the street from Emma one summer, also in the State St chipotle near by
