in the next entry into barbie, the one with bibble was next!!!! this movie was so fun. it’s a straight forward story about a wingless fairy elina who travels through a mystical end to try and stop an evil sorcerers. it’s a good natured/kind spirited and the simplistic plot is a nice pleasant watch. having a good time without having to actually think. it has positive themes of courage, self acceptance, friendship and overcoming insecurity (in this case it’s not having any wings) it’s visuals while being cheaply animated, they’re highly fantastical and enchanting, and they really have that beautiful colour that animated films in the present era really lack. despite lacking the traditional values of what makes a good movie, this has great characters and nice storytelling, plus it has that early 2000s level of nostalgia. it’s probably the weakest so far (besides the 80s shorts) but i had a good time

Fairytopia isn't as good as the other two films in the series, but it's still a great introduction to Elina and her world. The plot loses steam a little towards the final scenes with Laverna, and I would like more information about the guardians and the Enchantress, but there's comedic elements and a surprisingly delightful soundtrack, and I wish I could live in cozy flowers like the fairies.
