don’t get me angry… there’s a wolf inside me… and when i get angry… he comes out… and he’s unstoppable

Tragedy as horror wrapped in a fever dream (nightmare?). Ethan Embry is brilliant as Ren, a deputy struggling with alcohol addiction amid a marital split that leaves him disconnected from his son.
It’s surreal, bloody, horrific and, ultimately, incredibly sad.

You know the world premiere is good when the movie doesn’t even have an official poster yet
Wow! This was decent! This was actually pretty great! Honestly the only problems I have with the movie are some stupid CGI eyes on a goat-thing and the sound mixing; all the dialogue is super quiet and the scares are super loud, which in turn kinda makes them not work. But aside from those nitpicks, I was blown away, mostly by the ending and how it managed to justify all other plot/story related complaints I had throughout the buildup. Not scary in the traditional sense but instead much more depressing and dark.
Also without spoiling much, the set design and true meaning of the climax gave me major Barry vibes so that’s always a bonus.
