I really enjoyed this, it's a high energy crime duo journey. Kind of reminded me of Focus with Will Smith and Margot Robbie, this one was more intense which I liked.

Well, I think this is the best one of Samara Weaving’s 2026 run.
I’ve never seen Bonny and Clyde so I can’t compare the two but I could feel some heart in this one too. It starts off not so interesting to me, but the more emotion is involved, the better it gets. Weaving is really nice here, I love the colors and the vibe is just great.
I’ll say, there was still something that felt a bit off about this, I can’t explain it, but that’s the reason this one’s only getting 3 stars.

Samara Weaving is really grinding this year!! The film started off kinda slow, but really picked up its pacing to be the crime film that it is. The midpoint was honestly super fun and I was completely invested from that point on. I really liked the country setting of the film, something about the vibes are just really pleasing.

But what I like most is how grounded all of it feels, the stakes very much felt real and doesn’t leave much room for exaggeration. And when all of it is stripped, this film still works as a good romance story, definitely didn’t expect it to be quite emotional.
