This is a well-made found footage film. The scenes with tension have tension; there are no dolly zooms with these handheld cameras (thank you, God), and the acting performances in this film are good. However, this movie feels very by the numbers, like the opening scene, there will be some amazing suspense, and then the next ten minutes will be just fine, well-made but fine. It scratches that spooky itch I have for Halloween season, though, so there's that. Love supporting independent film though, well done to the filmmakers!
