Genuinely really funny. Super self aware and witty humor. The animation uses blue lineart and flat fills that looks a bit strange on a super saturated color palette, but contribute to giving it a pretty striking art style I guess.
I'm not usually fond of goopy black masses representing internal doubts, but it's foregrounded, and brief enough, to not really set me off. The movie doesn't overstay it's welcome in areas where it paints within the margins, so the cliches mostly slide off if they're ever apparent.
Some of the animated expressions, alongside the voice acting, really nail, and elevate, the humor for me. Willow's quirkiness was communicated magnificently though that. I wish we got more Willow, honestly just make a whole spinoff about them, that character is awesome.
The ending does feel a bit abrupt though.
