I watched it four years ago and couldn’t fully immerse myself in its atmosphere back then, but I liked it. Rewatching it now, it flew by unnoticed — incredibly interesting, beautiful, and atmospheric. +1 to the list of “my” films that I will rewatch more than once.

Genuinely fascinating premise.

What I did not need for the ENTIRE 2 hours was to watch eight people sit in a living room and talk. This is not a movie. This is a podcast with accidental cinematography.

The ideas are great. The history, the philosophy, the religion. But at some point I realized nothing was ever going to happen and I was just watching people sit on couches reacting to dialogue.

If someone sent me this as a podcast episode I would have given it five stars. As a film, I can see the appeal but really mid all things considered.
