It’s easy to vilify and villainize a group of people on the other side of the planet and use that to stoke the fires of war. But the real victims are always civilians, many who have no power or stake in anything. We hardly see in real time the toll of war on these people, but with the advancements of technology to document everything in real time, it is heart wrenching to see the actual human toll of war.
