It’s the ending that really got me, it’s quite potentially sad right for the last couple minutes. I will say other countries definitely mourn differently than Americans and here’s a great example of that. It was very theatrical but that’s also how people mourn, it’s the same way in some African countries, when I went to a funeral in Togo, it was the same theatrical mourning, I don’t know if that’s genuine to turkey but I’m not questioning it. The majority of it was just all right though. The beginning could have been a lot more powerful with more background on the wife and the coup. I do like how they used the boys imaginations to explain certain things. It really do feel like the movie was made in the eyes of an innocent child that’s just a little scared of the world. You know, I may just watch this again sometime.
