An early peak at the incoming greatness of Heath Ledger and Rose Byrne, Powderfinger just before Odyssey Number Five, the long gone monorail, the simplistic rhythm of the ‘90s Australian vernacular, and a Sydney before the millennium stripped away a lot of its character. It seems strange to say, but in a way it makes me romantic for an Australia that’s familiar yet I barely knew.
