Mike Flanagan definitely did the scary mirror trope better in Oculus cause this was just straight up dissapointing. That one gnarly scene in the bathroom and maybe perhaps the opening scene were the only memorable parts of the movie cause everything else felt very flat & dull, I think the decision to make most of the film's content just be about the main character investigating then having spooky hallucinatory jumpscares here and there was a huge mistake cause it made the whole thing feel dragged out and forgettable. Overall I went in expecting a terrifying set of horror sequences involving mirrors but what I got instead was a boring investigative jumpscare fest, final act was just goofy asf.
