Just wrapped up this mini series and it was overall fantastic!
I am a big fan of the mini series form the 90’s so I was excited for this remake and for the most part I wasn’t disappointed. James Marsden is no Gary Sinise but he was so charming and was a great Stu!
Owen Teague DELIVERED Harolds character to us on a silver platter. He was perfect and I couldn’t have asked for more!
Joven Adepo is someone I had never heard of, yet he gave me the Larry that I wanted and the Larry I wish they had in the 90’s series.
My biggest reasoning for docking it some stars is because I felt like they did Nick’s character dirty. He has such an important role and yet they didn’t give us any of it. He and Tom’s relationship wasn’t really shown to the extent it should have been.
He deserved better. The trash can man was more disturbingly weird than he was just normal weird trash can man and I fee at times that Ezra Miller overplayed it.. I wasn’t a big fan of his portrayal.
Overall though, I thought it was a good adaption, considering how big the book is, they did well for only having 9 episodes, although I would
Have liked to have more episodes and maybe a different characters story per episode because there is so much that was missing that could have been great.
Stephen King purist may hate this, but for me personally, I enjoyed it!
