I swear to god, every time I have seen this film in passing, it always look liked an ugly, drowned out, CGI-filled romp. And it is. The only reason I bothered to watch it in the first place is because many people say it has a bit of a camp factor to it. And to be frank, I can see where some of that comes from, with most of the dialogue being cheesy as hell. Lines such as "You were much more… muchier. You’ve lost your muchness" may not be funny to some, but it had me laughing more than I would like to admit. Unfortunately, some of that corny charm wears thin and becomes boring in the second half. And every single frame is just washed out from top to bottom, so that doesn’t excite me all that much. There are more negatives for me than there are positives.
If I’m boring for not caring for this all too much, then I’m fine being on the milquetoast side of the spectrum.
